Countries Reopening for Tourism
Antigua and Barbuda - reopened to international visitors on June 4th. Testing is done upon arrival
Aruba - Canada & Europe from July 1st, USA from July 10th
Austria reopened on June 16, 2020 for all of the European Union nations, with the exception of UK, Sweden, Spain and Portugal
Bahamas is reopening on July 1st, 2020
Bali - September/October
Belize will officially reopen on August 15th, 2020 from all countries
Bermuda is reopening on July 1st from all countries
Bora Bora, Tahiti, Mo’orea and other French Polynesian islands will reopen on July 15th for all countries
Costa Rica will reopen on August 1, 2020
Croatia has reopened from June only for EU citizens
Cyprus - International air travel started June 9th for EU, still closed for UK, USA
officials even offer to cover the costs of any travelers who test positive for Covid-19 while on vacation
The Dominican Republic will reopen on July 1st
Egypt - will reopen on July 1st
France - travellers who enter the country, with the exception of EU or UK citizens, will be subject to a compulsory 14-day quarantine until at least July 24
Germany - restrictions lifted only for EU countries
Greece - all greek airports will welcome all flights from abroad as of July 1
Jamaica - reopened to all international tourists on June 15th
Italy - reopened to European citizens on June 3rd
The Maldives - will be reopening on July 15th, 2020
Mexico - Cancun and Playa Del Carmen officially reopened for tourism on June 8th
Montenegro opens its borders for 130+ countries on July 1st, but visitors from UK, USA, Canada, Spain, France, Russia and Brazil will be placed on 14 days quarantine
Netherlands reopened for EU & Schengen area on June 15th
Spain reopened on June 21, 2020
Sri Lanka is reopening on August 1, 2020
St. Maarten is reopening on July 1st
Tanzania reopened in June for all travellers
Thailand - potential reopening August 1, 2020.
The Turks and Caicos Islands will begin reopening on July 22nd for U.S., Canada and Europe
Dubai, UAE reopened on July 7, 2020, however you have to have a negative test with you and follow certain rules
UK - all international travellers allowed but everyone will be placed on mandatory quarantine
Before traveling to any country, make sure you do the following:- Check they reopening guides for your desired destinations to find out about testing, quarantine, restrictions, etc
- Contact the hotel you’re planning to stay at for more information
- Not all the attractions are opened yet, check information on the official websites before you plan your adventures
